Frequently Asked Questions Missing or defective Import Library (lib file) Question: I'm missing odet30.lib or oded30.lib or oden40.lib. OR I'm getting linker errors using the .lib which was shipped. Answer: Either the .lib file is one that wasn't shipped, or it's corrupt, or it's built using a different C compiler than the one you are using. In any case, you merely need to regenerate the import library yourself using the utility provided by your C compiler. In the case of Borland C++, the command implib oden40.lib oden40.dll will generate the required import library. Your C compiler should have a similar utility.
